Chapter 44
When Yang Qu received the call, he had just finished taking a shower, but the newspaper spread on his legs went unread. Today was the last day, the deadline he gave Chu Wenxing before issuing the final ultimatum.
In truth, it wasn’t really a matter of letting Chu Wenxing consider; it was more like forcing him to comply while giving him some time to mentally prepare.
Chu Wenxing couldn’t say no because he didn’t dare to, and Yang Qu wouldn’t give him a chance to refuse.
Yang Qu, of course, didn’t expect Chu Wenxing to come seeking him so early, but he was well aware that Chu Wenxing wasn’t the type to just sit and wait to be captured. He was curious, though, about how Chu Wenxing would face his final assault.
Of course, Chu Wenxing didn’t disappoint him; it had been a long time since Yang Qu felt so delighted.
Over the phone, Ye Yixing complained, “Qu-ge, my sex life is being ruined by your little lover! You’re using my guest room, bathroom, and even my lubricants. Get your ass over here and deal with him! Stop playing these cat-and-mouse games!!”
Yang Qu took a sip of the juice he held and said, “Alright.”
This idiot had actually sought refuge in Ye Yixing’s house, he was practically asking for trouble. But then again, it wasn’t surprising; after all, he only recognized He Yanlu as his friend.
And as for He Yanlu, he was already his brother-in-law…
Yang Qu stood at Ye Yixing’s doorstep, wearing a tight black outfit, looking like a nocturnal bat.
Ye Yixing pointed to Chu Wenxing crouching in the corner and mischievously said, “He’s right there, go get him!”
He Yanlu, the naive fool, saw what was happening, and his face started turning red.
Yang Qu found the scene quite amusing, but he managed to suppress his laughter and teasingly glanced at Ye Yixing. “How could he be so innocent?”
Ye Yixing leaned on the door, enjoying the show, and retorted, “That’s what makes him cute.”
He Yanlu was bewildered by what he saw. Chu Wenxing, in a panic, suddenly jumped up and rushed towards the door.
And then, without any surprise, Yang Qu immediately grabbed him and pulled him into his arms.
His fingers crawled up Chu Wenxing’s chest and ribs, and Yang Qu said with a smile, “You’ve lost weight.”
He Yanlu saw this scene and his face started getting hot.
Was Yang Qu teasing Chu Wenxing? (= =)
“He Yanlu! He Yanlu!!” Chu Wenxing cried in panic, hoping someone would save him, but he saw his good friend being dragged behind him by the cat-turned-Ye Yixing. The cat whispered in He Yanlu’s ear, “Don’t interfere…”
Chu Wenxing started struggling frantically, feeling agitated and restless.
Ye Yixing conveniently pulled a long velvet ribbon from a crystal shelf behind him and threw it to Yang Qu.
That crystal shelf was originally used to hold magazines and newspapers, but since Ye Yixing didn’t have the habit of reading, it became a miscellaneous items’ shelf. One day, when he was watching TV with He Yanlu, he discovered that the black ribbon entwined around it was quite suitable as a bed prop for romantic occasions…
He hadn’t tried it himself yet, so he lent it to Yang Qu.
Hmm, it looked good on him.
Yang Qu had successfully tied Chu Wenxing up.
Ye Yixing turned to Yang Qu and said, “The guest room is next door, and the bathroom is on the left side. You can demolish the room tonight if you want, Yang Xiong! GOOD LUCK!”
Being easily bound by Yang Qu in front of his friend and Ye Yixing’s friend, Chu Wenxing’s self-esteem was stretched to the limit like a taut rubber band.
Yang Qu stroked Chu Wenxing’s back as they walked towards the guest room, soothing him gently, “Be good, listen to me, I won’t harm you.”
Ye Yixing pulled He Yanlu behind him and dragged him to the bedroom. He gently pushed He Yanlu onto the bed, and he was so light that he rolled twice on the bed even with that slight push.
Expecting Ye Yixing to do the same as earlier, He Yanlu felt a tingling sensation on his spine. However, he didn’t expect Ye Yixing to embrace him from behind and cover them with a blanket, saying, “Let’s sleep.”
“……Mm,” He Yanlu replied softly.
He held Da Bai, and Ye Yixing held him.
His mind started to wander again: Yang Qu seemed so powerful and imposing, but he wouldn’t really harm Chu Wenxing, right? … But why did this scene make him feel so familiar, with his heartbeat accelerating!
And that day when the little black cat suddenly turned into Ye Yixing and what happened between them, it felt so similar…
Ye Yixing was also like that, approaching him with a frightening aura, captivating him. Even though he was scared and even now, just thinking about it made him unable to resist the excitement, as if every cell in his body wanted to join in the excitement…
But it wasn’t a bad memory.
It was because the happiness was too intense, and he didn’t dare to recall it easily.
Otherwise, his heart wouldn’t be able to handle it…
“Can’t sleep?” Ye Yixing’s magnetic voice came from behind He Yanlu.
“It’s fine,” He Yanlu replied softly.
“Because I didn’t continue eating my fish… that’s why I couldn’t sleep, right?” Although it was a teasing remark, Ye Yixing said it with tenderness, curling his tongue and breathing slowly like a poppy, making He Yanlu completely captivated and unable to break free.
He hummed softly.
“You silly…” Ye Yixing’s fingers traced circles around He Yanlu’s abdomen. “I’m sorry…”
“…” Why was he apologizing?
Suddenly, Ye Yixing tightened his arms, pulling He Yanlu closer to his chest. “I’m sorry, I’m just feeling jealous…”
He Yanlu didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. After a moment of silence, he asked, “Will Wenxing be okay?”
Ye Yixing was about to answer when they heard a commotion from the next room, sounding like a struggle. The floor thudded, and the bed shook along with Chu Wenxing’s screams and cries for help.
So the words “He’ll be fine” were forcibly swallowed back by Ye Yixing.
In Ye Yixing’s memory, there was only one time when his brother Yang Qu became angry with genuine seriousness.
It happened when Ye Yixing was in his first year of high school and Yang Qu was in his second year.
Ye Yixing only knew that Yang Qu was the president of the literature club at school, and they weren’t very familiar with each other.
Yang Qu was a well-known figure at school, exuding an image of elegance and refinement, just like his manner of speech.
Editor-in-chief of the school magazine, winner of the city’s speech competition, two-time winner of the national essay competition’s first prize, founder of the S City High School Student Poetry Meeting…
There was nothing wrong with a man being involved in literature, but somehow, if a man couldn’t shake off that association with literature, it felt a little emasculating.
Ye Yixing had a talent for writing and had honed his writing skills. Composing poems to please girls and make them happy was a piece of cake for him. He didn’t consider it a special talent; it was just part of his charming personality. Therefore, he never imagined that one day he would get involved with “Chinese literature.”
Until one day, at the entrance of the cafeteria, Ye Yixing witnessed the graceful and refined Yang Qu getting into a physical fight with someone.
Ye Yixing wasn’t someone who liked to watch a spectacle, but the genuine Yang Qu was so different from what he had originally imagined that he couldn’t help but be drawn to him.
After listening to his classmates’ descriptions, he learned about the cause of the dispute.
There was a gay student in Yang Qu’s literature club who was publicly humiliated by another student. As the argument escalated, more and more students gathered around. Yang Qu’s attempts to reason with the other student were in vain, and instead, he was provocatively accused of having an affair with one of his club members. This successfully triggered the other person’s anger…
Thanks to his family’s arrangements, Ye Yixing had practiced martial arts in his early years at a youth martial arts training school. Although he learned only basic moves for physical fitness, self-defense, and health purposes, some of them included attacking techniques. For a non-professional student, as long as they laid a solid foundation in their early years, they would benefit from those skills throughout their lives.
Ye Yixing was familiar with the moves Yang Qu used; after all, Yang Qu had also practiced them.
In the end, the disrespectful student was kicked down by Yang Qu and then easily grabbed by the collar and lifted off the ground. Yang Qu coldly sneered, “So what if you’re gay? Does that give you the right to insult someone? Who do you think you are? Let me tell you, I’m also gay, so what? In both intellectual and physical combat, what makes you think you can win against me? What qualifications do you have to be so arrogant and look down on people because of their sexual orientation? By doing this, you’re only exposing your incompetence and ugliness. A person who doesn’t know how to respect others will always be despised and scorned!”
…
Yang Qu’s fighting and his imposing declaration left Ye Yixing deeply impressed.
Damn, he looked so cool! So, literary guys could also be macho!
After joining the literature club and becoming friends with Yang Qu, it was a piece of cake for Ye Yixing. But he never expected that they would be so compatible, having a great time together. Up until now, they had become each other’s unique confidants…
But he realized that one’s sexual orientation was also contagious…
Ye Yixing buried his chin in He Yanlu’s neck, thinking of “birds of a feather flock together.” He couldn’t help but chuckle silently.
“Yang Qu is formidable when he gets serious.”
As soon as he said that, sounds perfectly in sync with their conversation came from the next room—Chu Wenxing’s hysterical cursing and sobbing, intermittently accompanied by high-pitched moans, seemingly unable to endure.
Ye Yixing couldn’t hold back any longer, and he lifted his leg, rubbing against He Yanlu’s body…
“He’s crying…” He Yanlu nervously said, “He’s crying.”
Ye Yixing extended his tongue and licked He Yanlu’s earlobe. “Mm, you’ve cried too…”
“Hey…” If He Yanlu acted silly at this point, he would be pretending.
“Not only crying, but also begging and pleading…,” Ye Yixing captured He Yanlu’s lips.
At the same time…
Yang Qu was on top of Chu Wenxing, moving forcefully. “Good, make some noise, don’t hold back…”
“Mm… Ah… Ahh…” Chu Wenxing’s body experienced the hot instrument penetrating in and out, and he bit his lips while shaking uncontrollably.
“Why, afraid they’ll hear you?… Heh, believe it or not, they’re doing the same thing too?”
“Ah… Don’t…,” Chu Wenxing’s lips were red and swollen, his face streaked with tears.
“You foolish idiot… I warned you not to try to escape.” Yang Qu lowered his head, capturing the gasping moans that came too quickly to form words, and with a smile, he scolded, “You brought this on yourself.”

The next morning, Ye Yixing was brushing his teeth in the bathroom when Yang Qu came out after taking a morning shower.
“Is He Yanlu still asleep?” Yang Qu asked first.
“Yeah, he was tired last night,” Ye Yixing replied, spitting out a mouthful of foam. “And what about your wife?”
“Your bed is really hard, I don’t think he can get up today,” Yang Qu chuckled.
The two brothers exchanged a knowing smile, their unspoken understanding palpable.
“I might not be able to go to school today, so ask He Yanlu to take a day off for me,” Yang Qu said.
“Sure, I’ll give you the key to the house,” Ye Yixing said, showing concern. “Can you and Chu Wenxing be together? I was quite clear that He Yanlu likes him, which is why we did that.”
“You told me that all I had to do was force Xiaoxin to confess,” Yang Qu said.
Once the mental defense line relaxed, emotions could easily burst out.
“So, did he confess?” Ye Yixing asked.
“Yeah,” Yang Qu admitted, even though he had cried and confessed just a few hours ago.
Yang Qu, the mighty one!
“Congratulations,” Ye Yixing said.
“Same to you,” Yang Qu replied.
Ye Yixing threw a spare bathrobe at Yang Qu and headed to the kitchen. “I’ll make porridge, do you want me to make some for you two?”
Yang Qu nodded and leaned against the bathroom door with his arms crossed. “He Yanlu is really lucky.”
“What?” Ye Yixing poked his head out of the kitchen. “What did you say? I didn’t hear clearly.”
Yang Qu said, “Do you have any anti-inflammatory medication and healing cream here?”
“In the third drawer of the cabinet behind the sofa, there are new ones. By the way, you’d better clean him up,” Ye Yixing said.
Yang Qu smirked, amused that this little rascal actually acted like a real lover when he fell in love.
After preparing white porridge and boiling four soft-boiled eggs for breakfast, the two of them woke up their lover with affectionate kisses.
After spending some intimate time together in the room, He Yanlu reluctantly sat up, his body covered in new and old red marks, looking both tender and indignant. Ye Yixing mischievously found a set of clothes for him to wear, which turned out to be the couple outfit they bought together yesterday.
After breakfast, the two of them went to school hand in hand. Before leaving, He Yanlu glanced worriedly in the direction of the guest room.
Ye Yixing embraced him and said, “Yang Qu will handle it.”
The news of Ye Yixing, who had been missing for nearly two months, returning to campus while holding hands with the first beauty of the literature department, He Yanlu, spread like wildfire throughout F University’s literature department! Even though they attended classes in different rooms, Ye Yixing and He Yanlu were still surrounded by onlookers.
Especially Ye Yixing, his classroom, Room 21 for multimedia, was like a bustling marketplace!
The handsome Ye Yixing had reverted to black hair, and his emerald green eyes seemed even more charming without his colored contacts. His every move, every frown, every smile exuded a lazy elegance, captivating everyone around him.
If they were to compare him to an animal, many people would probably choose a cat.
Yes, the revived Ye Yixing seemed to transform into an aristocratic cat—confident, elegant, proud, and charming.
However, this cat already had an owner.
Many people noticed that, hidden behind Ye Yixing’s collar, was a silver pet collar!
