Chapter 10

Luo Ran took an aircraft to the duke’s residence in the West District.

When Miss Nina heard that he was General Lucas’s secretary, she naturally had him turned away at the gate.

Standing before the entrance and looking at the two burly bodyguards in front of him, Luo Ran said helplessly, “Please help me deliver this letter to Miss Nina.”

Luo Ran had simply printed out the post.

Sure enough, once Nina saw the letter, she had no choice but to let Luo Ran in.

In the reception room, Nina sat to one side holding her pet dog in her arms, looking at Luo Ran with obvious displeasure.

As the duke’s daughter, Nina was a pampered young lady. The price of a single necklace she wore could have bought several complete sets of all the clothes and accessories Luo Ran had on.

“Has Secretary Luo come to hold me accountable?”

“If I’d come here to accuse and blame you, I wouldn’t have come alone.” Luo Ran sat perfectly upright, his features still gentle.

“Then what did you come here for? To blackmail me?” Nina glanced at Luo Ran, her tone tinged with disdain.

Nina’s sharpness was different from Lilia’s. Lilia was a little princess who charged straight into everything without thinking, but this young lady was a queen.
