Chapter 40
“Ghost sister, I want to die.”
“What happened?”
“Huahua scolded me for being shameless.”
“Why is he like that? Is he still a man?”
“Do I really become girly as he said?”
“Of course not, dear sister. Don’t listen to his nonsense.”
Xia Leyang sulked in his bedroom, arms wrapped around his legs, chin resting on his knees, looking like a pitiful and aggrieved little soul.
After his failed strategy the night before, Xia Leyang came up with another ghostly idea. Since Shang Tingzhi was quite stable, he didn’t believe that dressing up as a cat wouldn’t affect him.
So, last night, Xia Leyang secretly took out cat ears, a bell, and a tail from a box. After taking a bath, he put on the whole set.
Since he had already used the tail once, it was easy to put it on again. Facing the mirror on the washstand, he adjusted the cat ears. The bell on the collar made a jingling sound, successfully luring the lazy female ghost out.
“You two are really good at playing; I didn’t expect this.” The female ghost sat on the edge of the bathtub, legs crossed, filing her nails.
Xia Leyang quickly wrapped himself in a towel. Although the female ghost had already seen him and Shang Tingzhi thoroughly, he still hadn’t reached the point where he could run around naked in front of her.
“You’ve progressed quite fast since I last came out to play,” the female ghost, finding a nail file from somewhere, commented while observing Xia Leyang.
“He hasn’t sucked on me for a while, and I just wanted to continue the bedtime entertainment,” Xia Leyang blushed, looking unnatural.
“Why?” The curious female ghost asked, “Does he find it boring?”
Xia Leyang nodded, and the bell on his neck made a jingling sound.
“Of course, it’s boring. It’s too plain and tasteless. I can’t even watch it,” the female ghost blew on her nails, “So, have you finally figured it out now?”
“Why should I figure it out?” Xia Leyang said indignantly, “I still have other methods.”
With that, Xia Leyang raised both hands and pinched the cat ears on his head, “How about it, sister ghost? He shouldn’t be able to resist this, right?”
The female ghost put away the nail file, floated over, circled around Xia Leyang, then sat on the washstand, touching her chin, “Not bad. He might just devour you entirely.”
“Devour what? Huahua is not that kind of person. He never forces me.” Xia Leyang said, “My plan is to make him lose control, give me a chance to suck him back. I need to seize this opportunity, make him unable to resist me.”
“Tsk tsk tsk.” The female ghost shook her head, “Young man, you’re very confident.”
“Of course.” Xia Leyang wiped his nose with his thumb, “I won’t say more to you. He’s coming upstairs soon, and I have to ambush him.”
The female ghost brought out a fan from who knows where, covering half of her face, chuckled, “Good luck.”
Xia Leyang hid under the blanket, covered the cat ears with a pillow, and everything below his eyes with the blanket. When Shang Tingzhi went to the bathroom to freshen up, he didn’t notice anything strange about Xia Leyang.
After waiting for more than ten minutes, the sound of the door opening finally came from the bathroom. Xia Leyang quickly covered his head with the blanket, waiting for Shang Tingzhi to come over.
“Yangyang?” As soon as Shang Tingzhi came out of the bathroom, he saw a small mountain on the double bed, “What are you doing under the blanket?”
Xia Leyang didn’t say a word, remaining motionless and hidden under the blanket.
Shang Tingzhi, concerned that Xia Leyang might be unwell, walked to the bedside, pulled a corner of the blanket, and unsuspectingly uncovered the thin, cool cover.
Describing his reaction as shocked would be an understatement.
Curling up on the spacious bed was a completely naked cat, its cheeks slightly flushed from being under the blanket for a while. The furry cat ears were irresistibly tempting, and the black collar accentuated the fair and slender neck.
Perhaps feeling uneasy under the gaze, the cat moved shyly, shifting its leg to cover the modesty in the middle, revealing the cat tail behind, emphasizing its alluring contours.
Shang Tingzhi felt a rush of heat to his head, nearly making him dizzy.
He took three deep breaths to suppress the turmoil in his heart.
“Yangyang, what are you doing?” The sound from his throat was unexpectedly husky.
“Do you really not need me to…?” Xia Leyang lifted his head to look at Shang Tingzhi, and the bell on the collar jingled with his movements, like a bewitching charm, provoking Shang Tingzhi and causing him to lose his composure.
“I don’t.” Shang Tingzhi said almost through gritted teeth.
“Really?” Xia Leyang rolled over and crawled towards Shang Tingzhi on all fours, like a seductive Persian cat.
“Yangyang.” Shang Tingzhi frowned, restraining Xia Leyang’s restless hands, “Where did you learn all this?”
Xia Leyang blinked without answering. Shang Tingzhi pressed on, “Did you learn it from that female ghost?”
“No.” Xia Leyang sat back, kneeling on the bed with hands placed in front of his lower abdomen, covering the private area.
“You weren’t like this before.” Shang Tingzhi gradually calmed down, extinguishing the flames of desire in his heart, “Why are you so shameless now?”
“Ah?” Xia Leyang was stunned. Contrary to his plan, Shang Tingzhi not only wasn’t enchanted but also accused him of not being embarrassed. His ears drooped, and he looked at Shang Tingzhi with a pitiful expression, asking, “How can you say that about me?”
“Have you been with the female ghost for too long, and now all you can think about is seducing men?” Shang Tingzhi sternly asked, “Before you tried to seduce me, did you ever think why?”
“Why what?” Xia Leyang asked in a timid voice.
“Why did you try to seduce me?” After all the buildup, Shang Tingzhi finally got to the point. He figured that if he didn’t spell it out, Xia Leyang’s mysterious thought process would never comprehend it. So he had to guide him step by step.
“I want to go back to the time when we helped each other,” Xia Leyang said, lowering his head. He thought that since Shang Tingzhi always disagreed, he had to resort to such a strategy to make him compromise.
“Why don’t I want to help you mutually? Have you ever thought about that?” Shang Tingzhi asked.
“You said my skills were lousy,” Xia Leyang said, lifting his head to look at Shang Tingzhi, “but I can improve.”
Sure enough, he still had a wooden head, and after all this time, he still couldn’t figure it out.
Shang Tingzhi sighed helplessly, pulled the blanket over Xia Leyang, and sat down at the bedside. He straightforwardly said, “I don’t want to play these boring games with you because I want to be serious.”
Actually, when Shang Tingzhi said “be serious,” he meant to define their relationship. However, Xia Leyang automatically interpreted those three words as going at it for real. Unbalanced, he said, “Then why can’t I be the one on top?”
Shang Tingzhi had three black lines on his forehead. Xia Leyang persisted, “We’re both men, so why should it be you on top?”
“Do you want to be on top of me?” Shang Tingzhi asked expressionlessly.
Xia Leyang shook his head, “I just want mutual assistance.”
Shang Tingzhi sighed and, feeling relieved, said, “I understand. You’re just like your sister.”
“What?” Xia Leyang was puzzled.
“Just seeking the pleasure of the flesh without wanting responsibilities,” Shang Tingzhi explained.
“But it’s different!” Xia Leyang protested, “We are built on voluntary equality.”
Shang Tingzhi raised an eyebrow, “I’m just not willing now.”
“Then… what do you want?” Xia Leyang worriedly clutched the blanket, “Do you want me to take responsibility for you?”
The little fool finally understood, and Shang Tingzhi breathed a sigh of relief.
He had never been in a relationship and wasn’t an assertive person. Being able to guide Xia Leyang to this point was even more exhausting than climbing the Great Wall.
“Well,” Shang Tingzhi responded, “Let me be your boyfriend, and I’ll go along with whatever you want.”
“And then?” the female ghost asked, “You didn’t agree?”
If he had agreed, he wouldn’t be sulking in the corner.
“I said I’d think about it,” Xia Leyang replied.
After saying he’d think about it last night, Shang Tingzhi’s face immediately turned dark. Xia Leyang, not giving up, decided to struggle one last time. Pretending the tail couldn’t be taken out, he asked Shang Tingzhi for help. However, this time, Shang Tingzhi didn’t make him ecstatic as before. He coldly said, “How it went in is how it should come out.”
“He’s deliberately messing with me!” Xia Leyang complained to the female ghost, “All his previous efforts were just to dig a pit for me, making me dependent, and in the end, I’ll be at his mercy!”
The female ghost, who had gone somewhere to get her nails done, admired the blingbling decorations on her hand while nonchalantly saying, “So in the end, it’s you who’s seducing and irresistible.”
After finishing, the female ghost laughed lightly, put away her hand, and said to Xia Leyang, “Good little sister, you indeed overestimated yourself.”
“What should I do then?” Xia Leyang pouted.
“I think Hua Hua is quite good. Why didn’t you agree?” the female ghost asked.
“I’m not gay,” Xia Leyang stubbornly replied.
The female ghost rolled her eyes, wishing she could knock open Xia Leyang’s head to see what’s inside. She asked, “Let me ask you, do you like him holding you while sleeping?”
Xia Leyang nodded; it was comfortable.
The female ghost continued, “Do you like his ‘big stick’?”
Xia Leyang immediately retorted, “There’s no…!”
The female ghost thought about it; since they hadn’t done anything yet, this question was a bit too forward. She changed her approach and asked, “Imagine now, Hua Hua gets a girlfriend. How would you feel?”
Xia Leyang frowned, feeling uncomfortable. But he quickly reassured himself that this wouldn’t happen, chuckling, “He’s destined to be a bachelor; he won’t have a girlfriend.”
The female ghost had no other options and had to approach it from her expertise. She deliberately said, “Don’t you want to enjoy pleasure every night? Ah, I envy that.”
Xia Leyang, the little fellow, finally wavered a bit, hesitantly asking, “Sister Ghost, is it really enjoyable?”
The female ghost said, “I’ll be cursed if I lie to you.”
Xia Leyang pondered, “…” It seemed like she was already cursed in the first place.
“Just try it with him,” the female ghost continued to persuade, “If it doesn’t work out, just break up.”
“That’s not possible,” Xia Leyang said seriously. He considered himself a responsible person; how could he agree so easily and play with someone’s feelings?
The female ghost chatted for a long time, but she was fed up with this type of person who couldn’t make decisions no matter what advice you gave. She gave up trying to persuade him and floated in the direction of the bathroom, saying, “I understand now. You have no trace of masculinity.”
“What?” Xia Leyang stared, asking with a hint of hurt.
“Babbling on and on, unable to make a decision,” the female ghost floated through the wall, “even women aren’t as indecisive as you.”
Hearing this, Xia Leyang suddenly felt like a thunderbolt struck him. He himself couldn’t stand people who couldn’t make decisions after going out for a meal for half a day.
“When did he become like this himself?”
