Chapter 64

This entry is part 64 of 64 in the series The Overindulged Male Wife

From the very first time Xiao Wu met A’Yin, he thought this damn foreigner was the worst. Who the hell stares at a pregnant guy’s belly like that—nonstop, and with that creepy look on his face? So, Xiao Wu made a mental note: once Young Master Ning took over ZK, he’d make sure to properly deal with this guy, just so he’d understand exactly who not to mess with.

Later, when Mr. Gu moved into the villa to help take care of Young Master Ning, Xiao Wu couldn’t figure out why the hell A’Yin hadn’t left yet. Worse, the guy even requested to join the security team. Of all people, they got assigned to the same group. At first, Xiao Wu was like, “Fine—at least I can keep an eye on him up close.”

And for the first few days, Xiao Wu did keep a close eye. During guard shifts, he didn’t let A’Yin take a single step out of line. No sneaking glances at Young Master’s room, especially not at his belly. The second he caught that guy staring at Ning with that disgusting, pervy gaze, Xiao Wu would beat the crap out of him on the spot.

Eventually, A’Yin stopped peeking at He Changning… but then Xiao Wu started to feel something else was off. Why was this guy always looking at him now? And not just casually—it was that intense, burning stare, like a predator eyeing its prey. It gave him the chills, like he was standing there naked and being ogled head to toe. If A’Yin had any less self-control, he probably would’ve pounced.

Xiao Wu couldn’t take it anymore. Being stared at like that day in and day out was driving him nuts. So he decided to confront A’Yin and set the record straight. That conversation in the backyard… well, it ended with Xiao Wu losing the first kiss he’d been saving for years. Actually, he lost it twice—back to back—and both times were completely embarrassing.

After that, Xiao Wu was in a terrible mood. Losing your first kiss? Fine. But losing it in front of both Young Master and Young Master Ning? Mortifying. Every time he saw them afterward, he couldn’t even lift his head. His face would turn redder than a monkey’s butt.

And besides… even if he didn’t care that much about the whole “first kiss” thing, the point was that it should’ve been with someone normal! A’Yin was a guy—and a foreigner at that! Getting kissed by another man? Seriously?! What the actual hell?!

Sure, he’d spent years around Young Master and Young Master Ning, who were totally in love and practically glued together. But that didn’t mean he was into guys. Xiao Wu liked girls, always had, end of story. So why the hell was this psycho foreigner all over him? He was the one who got force-kissed, and yet somehow A’Yin was the one demanding he take responsibility. The hell?

“If you’re so serious,” Xiao Wu snapped, “then go die already! I’ll bury you myself!”

A’Yin gave him a wounded look. “I can’t die yet. I haven’t won your heart. Who’s gonna love you if I’m gone?”

Xiao Wu exploded. “I don’t need your damn love! Get lost!”

But A’Yin was relentless. “Not a chance. Until we sleep together, you’re not going anywhere.”

And so began yet another epic fight—chickens flying, dogs barking, total chaos. Once again, Xiao Wu ended up pinned beneath A’Yin, thoroughly kissed and completely overpowered.

Truth was, Xiao Wu was just as skilled as A’Yin in a fight. The reason he kept getting steamrolled? A’Yin had figured out Xiao Wu’s weak spot: the ticklish soft flesh on his waist. All it took was one well-placed pinch, and Xiao Wu’s strength would instantly vanish. That’s when A’Yin would swoop in, kiss him breathless, and take full advantage before finally letting him go.

Of course, A’Yin didn’t discover that weak spot on his own. He had a little help—thanks to none other than Xiao Qi.

Desperate to get Xiao Wu into his bed, A’Yin had turned his charm on the entire Shadow Team. After enough trial and error, he finally tricked the ever-naïve Xiao Qi into spilling the secret: Xiao Wu was super ticklish, especially at his waist. One squeeze, and the guy went limp.

For his betrayal, Xiao Qi got the beating of his life. He couldn’t get out of bed for three days. He sobbed miserably in Shi San’s arms.

Shi San comforted him with a pat. “There, there… next time, think before you open that mouth. Foreigners can’t be trusted.”

When He Changning was giving birth and his life was on the line, everyone was on edge—none more than Xiao Wu, who had been with him the longest. Xiao Wu didn’t sleep, didn’t rest. He stood outside the bedroom, keeping vigil, while Shang Yushang kept watch inside. And right beside him, A’Yin stood too, staying with him through it all.

When He Changning finally woke up, Xiao Wu finally breathed easy. And… he was touched. Touched by A’Yin’s constant presence, his quiet support. That was the moment A’Yin slipped past the final defenses of Xiao Wu’s heart. From then on, they officially started dating.

During that time, A’Yin clung to Xiao Wu every second of every day. Whether there was a reason or not, he’d steal kisses, and whenever no one was looking, he’d drag Xiao Wu into a corner to kiss and grope him to his heart’s content before letting him go. Anytime Xiao Wu tried to resist, A’Yin would pull out his pitiful puppy eyes, cuddle him, and turn on the charm—and it worked every time. He had Xiao Wu completely wrapped around his finger.

Some cuddling and touching between lovers was totally normal. But when Xiao Wu came out of the shower one night and found A’Yin lying in his bed, he completely lost his composure.

“What the hell are you doing in my bed? Go back to your room.”

Ain flat-out refused. “No.”

Xiao Wu gritted his teeth, trying to stay calm. After all, they hadn’t gotten into a real fight in a while. “What do you want?”

“To sleep with you.”

Xiao Wu took a deep breath, forcing himself to stay cool. “Get out. I don’t want to sleep with you.”

“No way. We’re lovers—of course we should sleep together.”

Xiao Wu glared at him. “Where the hell did you get that nonsense? Go. Back. To. Your. Room.”

Seeing that the direct approach wouldn’t work, A’Yin immediately changed tactics. He threw himself across the bed and started flailing like a toddler having a tantrum. “Xiao Wu, you don’t love me anymore? You don’t want me anymore? We’re together, so why can’t we live together? I don’t care—I’m sleeping here! I can’t fall asleep without you!”

Xiao Wu clenched his jaw, holding back the storm brewing in his chest. “Who says being in love means living together? I’m not that kind of guy.”

Ain looked heartbroken. “I’m not that kind of guy either! If I didn’t love you, I wouldn’t go anywhere near your bed, not even if someone paid me!”

Xiao Wu was completely stumped—but still stared A’Yin down, eyes wide.

Ain didn’t back down. He stared right back, talking nonstop. “We’re in love. What’s wrong with living together? And I never said we had to do anything! I just want to sleep next to you, that’s all. Just cuddling—nothing else, okay?” Then he flopped onto Xiao Wu’s chest and wrapped his arms around his neck, pouting. “I just want to live with you. I didn’t do anything wrong.”

Xiao Wu rubbed his aching temples. How had he ended up with such a handful?

And just like that, A’Yin successfully moved into Xiao Wu’s room. Every night, he’d dutifully cuddle up to Xiao Wu and fall asleep like a baby. Every morning, he’d happily get up with him, brush teeth together, eat breakfast together, and even stand guard side by side.

Xiao Wu eventually thought—well, maybe this wasn’t so bad.

But then came the day when that sheep in wolf’s clothing devoured him—bones and all—and Xiao Wu was left pounding his chest in regret.

It all started the day He Changning finished his postpartum recovery. To celebrate, the kitchen cooked up a huge feast. Even the two babies were brought out to join in. Besides a few guards still on duty, pretty much everyone in the villa was gathered.

He Changning, grateful for the Shadow Team’s protection and help during this time, talked it over with Shang Yushang and gave everyone permission to have a drink or two in celebration.

Naturally, the brothers were thrilled. With the young master’s approval, they let loose and drank to their hearts’ content.

Xiao Wu also had a lot to drink. His normally stoic and handsome face had softened with a drunken haze. His eyes were glassy with a trace of moisture, and his lips, stained red with wine, looked dangerously tempting. He leaned lazily against the couch, tall and slender, quietly watching the chaos of drunken men shouting and roughhousing around him.

Ain sat right next to him, eyes burning, pupils dark with barely restrained hunger. At that moment, the only thing on his mind was stripping Xiao Wu naked and thoroughly making love to him.

With that thought in mind, A’Yin put it into action. While everyone was drinking and having a good time, he quietly snuck Xiao Wu back to their room.

The moment they stepped inside, before Xiao Wu could even ask a single question, A’Yin kissed him senseless. While locking lips, he slowly maneuvered them toward the bed—stripping both of them bare along the way.

By the time Xiao Wu realized what was happening, A’Yin was more than ready. And when A’Yin finally sank into him, he sealed off Xiao Wu’s angry curses with another kiss.

They tangled together wildly, only stopping reluctantly as the first light of dawn crept in. Xiao Wu barely managed to curse out, “You bastard…” before passing out cold.

It took him three full days before he could even get out of bed—and the first thing he did was beat the living daylights out of A’Yin, whom he had been treating like a living deity until then.

After Linbao and Longbao’s hundred-day celebration, Shang Yushang and He Changning flew to the U.S., taking Xiao Wu and A’Yin with them.

In the years that followed, A’Yin became He Changning’s most capable right-hand man, and Xiao Wu, through experience and some tough love, gradually matured into someone who could hold his own. He Changning often felt a deep, fatherly pride, like watching his own child grow up strong.

Xiao Wu’s growth couldn’t have happened without A’Yin’s guidance and support. After years of living and working side by side, their relationship deepened into something steady and solid.

As for what went down in bed… well, after countless rounds of fists flying and feet kicking, they never really settled the matter of who topped and who bottomed.

Whenever A’Yin showed up to work sporting a black eye, Xiao Wu was usually at home resting in bed.

And whenever Xiao Wu came in with a split lip, A’Yin would be mysteriously “out sick.”

He Changning teased them endlessly about it, but the two of them never tired of their antics.

As long as it didn’t affect their work, He Changning couldn’t be bothered to intervene in their bedroom drama.

For five years, the two of them moved forward side by side—sometimes exchanging blows in heated moments, sometimes wrapped in each other’s arms with all the tenderness in the world. Their teammates in the Shadow Unit were both envious and bitter, grinding their teeth in frustration.

But Xiao Wu would just proudly say, “I don’t care who you are—your boy’s got a man and I’ll flaunt it however I damn well please. Got a problem? Drop dead.”
