Chapter 115
In private, Allen said such words to Donald to consider his sister’s face. In these matters, it’s generally more appropriate for the woman to step forward and reject.
After saying these words, Allen formally introduced Su Bin to that group of “mischievous” friends, using the phrase “a part of me.” His serious attitude took the group by surprise.
“I’m sorry, I hope the joke just now didn’t make you feel uncomfortable.” Sidney was the first to apologize to Su Bin. After all, this person was his brother’s “lover,” and he would likely meet him often in the future. The others followed suit, apologizing repeatedly and making Su Bin feel embarrassed.
At the same time, Allen introduced his friends to Su Bin one by one. “Sidney Wilson, my younger brother.”
Su Bin had seen Sidney outside the medical building that day and felt that he got along well with Prince Hal.
“Allen: “Hua Ling, the friend who understands Chinese…”” Su Bin: “…” (Black history orz…)
Hua Ling: “…” Why are you looking at me like that? Have I offended you? >_< “And Sean, Donald…” After introducing the two, Allen pointed to the blond man in a white suit and smiled at Su Bin, saying, “This is the ‘prince’ you’re interested in, Hal, the current Queen B’s grandson.”
Su Bin felt a bit awkward; he wasn’t as interested as Allen said… just curious! Hal, on the other hand, was pleased with Allen’s words. Looking at Su Bin leaning against Allen, appearing meek and cute, he remarked, “Lance, he’s really obedient.”
Su Bin: “…” Afterward, Allen took Su Bin to meet the Countess, and then they returned to the Roland Manor. Sitting in the car, Allen saw Su Bin looking gloomy and asked, “What are you thinking?”
Su Bin closed his mouth, choosing not to speak. Allen grabbed his hand and gently rubbed it. “Blaming me?”
“No.” Su Bin looked out of the car window, a pile of thoughts flooding his mind—from discovering Allen’s popularity in the banquet hall to being played by Allen’s friends, and finally, being scrutinized by the Countess with such a gaze. Oh, don’t mention the Countess; that lady seemed kind and courteous, but when Allen introduced himself, there was an obvious hesitation. After careful consideration of his words, Allen chose to say “friend.” This made Su Bin feel somewhat inferior, mainly because of the two previous points, especially being “played” by Allen’s friends, making him feel like he embarrassed Allen.
He found himself really pathetic—meeting a group of people for the first time and trusting them over Allen. He even suspected Allen was a vampire… Has his brain gone crazy?
Allen continued holding his hand firmly, the warmth passing through their palms, making Su Bin feel both reassured and uneasy. Reassured because Allen was by his side, and uneasy because he felt a significant gap in status between them. He feared being abandoned—not the kind of abandonment from Chen Xiaotian, but the fear that one day Allen would marry, start a family, and his care would be shared with someone else, and he would no longer be the only one.
Su Bin didn’t initially think of himself as such a greedy person, desiring to exclusively possess Allen. He had never thought about it, but for some reason, this thought suddenly appeared in his mind tonight.
After experiencing all of Allen’s tenderness, he didn’t want Allen to look at anyone else. Contradictory feelings made his eyes sore and his heart ache.
Allen didn’t continue questioning him in the car. After returning to Roland Manor, he asked Su Bin to take a bath and gave him some time alone to gather his thoughts.
Before sleeping, they needed to have a proper conversation. After Su Bin finished bathing, he sat on the sofa in the bedroom, waiting for Allen. His body had been soaked in hot water, and he changed into a bathrobe—still the one Allen had worn as a child, made of very close-fitting flannel material. It was a bit bulky but very soft. Su Bin felt somewhat relaxed.
He began to recall the events of the evening, remembering how Allen gracefully moved among the ladies before his friends appeared. Their eyes showed clear admiration… Why was he thinking about Allen from the perspective of those women?
Su Bin twisted his hair, disliking this anxious and indecisive version of himself. He wanted to slap himself for being so weak.
When Allen returned, he saw Su Bin pinching his own face and making strange expressions. While drying his hair, Allen silently watched Su Bin, asking, “Is there something you want to say to me?”
Su Bin stopped his actions and looked at Allen… Ah, this man is standing in front of me wearing a bathrobe, and there’s probably nothing underneath. His hair is wet with water vapor, seductive enough to make people go crazy… If a woman saw this scene, she would probably scream in excitement, right? Su Bin wasn’t a woman; he wouldn’t scream. In the past, he might have felt nervous and wanted to find a corner to hide in, but now he just sat there, feeling feverish all over, expecting Allen to come and touch him voluntarily.
“Do you have anything on your mind?” Allen asked. Su Bin, not avoiding Allen’s touch anymore, didn’t feel nervous. He was enjoying it very much.
“I…” In this state, he spoke. Allen reminded him, “Before speaking, think about the vows you made to me.”
Su Bin remained silent for a while. Finally, he countered, “Will your vows to me be effective as well?” He lacked confidence, so he repeatedly sought confirmation.
Allen asked, “Do you not trust me?” Su Bin wanted to trust, but “wanting to trust” was just a tendency, not the result. Compared to his own vows, he wanted to hear Allen’s promise again. He wanted to hear Allen repeat those three “never” or repeatedly say, “You are mine,” which would make him feel a bit more secure.
Su Bin’s silence evidently displeased Allen. He let go of Su Bin’s hand, and Su Bin anxiously looked into his eyes.
Allen calmly said, “I’ll give you ten seconds. If you don’t speak, you’ll sleep alone tonight.”
Ten seconds, equivalent to none. Su Bin blurted out subconsciously, “Don’t…”
Allen chuckled, his tone still calm, even a bit cold, “Then speak.”
Su Bin was scared by Allen’s non-tender actions, “What’s wrong?”
“Shouldn’t I be asking you that?” Allen reached out, holding Su Bin’s head gently, caressing his earlobe tenderly. “Is there really nothing you want to say to me?”
Su Bin didn’t have the time to organize his thoughts; he could only act on instinct. Stepping forward, he reached out, hugging Allen and rubbing his head against him to please him.
Allen was about to give in, but he didn’t want to keep guessing Su Bin’s thoughts every time they faced such a situation. He didn’t have mind-reading abilities, and even with keen observation, he couldn’t always guess right. Su Bin had to learn to be honest with him—so, enduring it, he didn’t do anything.
“Don’t go.” Su Bin said softly; he was afraid that if his voice got louder, he would scare away the courage he had just built up. “I want you…”
Allen: “Want me?”
Su Bin closed his eyes, mumbling, “Don’t look at others; it makes me uncomfortable.”
Ah… jealous, huh? Allen slowly curved his lips, hugging Su Bin back and using one hand to gently cover the back of his head, softly stroking his hair. “Continue…”
Su Bin: “Your vows, will they always be effective?”
Allen: “Do you think I’m joking?”
“I’m sorry… but I want to know if it’s only for me.” Su Bin said these words in a muddled way, and his ears were burning after saying them.
Allen laughed lightly. Su Bin didn’t hear the sentence Allen said in his heart after making the vow—’I will let you enjoy all of my love’—so he was confused, right? Since that was the case, let him be confused.
“Do you want me to be your exclusive?” Allen asked seriously.
Su Bin buried his face in Allen’s arms, feeling filled with warmth as if a warm stream had instantly filled his empty heart. He looked at Allen, no longer at a loss.
Moreover, for the first time, he discovered that being spoiled with Allen was surprisingly effective…
“I don’t want to see you unhappy. I’ve said it many times; if you have any troubles, you must be honest with me and not think randomly on your own… As for marriage, didn’t you hear me refuse Donald tonight?” Allen looked at Su Bin with eyes that seemed to say, ‘Are you so foolish?’ But his tone was gentle and indulgent.
Su Bin was about to get drunk; he hugged this person tightly, not wanting to let go.
