Gu Yang instinctively took two steps back. Lin Xiaoran’s action of taking off his glasses left a deep impression on him.
Glasses seemed to be a seal for Lin Xiaoran at certain times. When he wore them, he was the model student of Seven Middle School, the epitome of excellence for all students. But when he took them off, he seemed like a completely different person, not at all like the delicate and pretty Omega.

“What’s wrong with you, Lin Xiaoran? Won’t you even listen to an explanation?” Gu Yang was genuinely angry now, with no hint of playfulness in his peach blossom eyes.
However, he didn’t notice the problematic posture they were in. In order to press Lin Xiaoran, their bodies had a large area of contact, their faces almost touching.

With that, he sat down against the wall, his head lowered. His black, soft bangs covered his eyes, leaving only his white, bloodless chin and rosy lips visible.

Though he said that, Gu Yang still felt remorseful.

The brief conversation ended, and the alley returned to silence.
After who knows how long, both of them returned to calmness. By now, it was completely dark outside, with the alley’s streetlight dimly illuminating their elongated shadows. There were no more sounds coming from the nearby food street, as the students had long gone back to the campus for evening self-study.
Lin Xiaoran confirmed that he was fine and couldn’t smell Gu Yang’s pheromones anymore. He brushed off the dust from his clothes, stood up, and turned to walk towards the school.
“Hey!” Gu Yang called out to him.
Lin Xiaoran turned to look at him.
Meeting his clear eyes, Gu Yang found himself unable to speak again.
To be honest, Gu Yang felt a bit embarrassed. Losing control in front of an Omega was really shameful.
Lin Xiaoran paused, sensing Gu Yang’s thoughts. He shrugged and said, “Alright, I know you didn’t mean to.”

Gu Yang was surprised by how easy Lin Xiaoran was to talk to today. Just as he was about to respond, he heard that clear voice again, “You just… have weak self-control.” With that, Lin Xiaoran continued walking forward.
